Natalia Romero grew up in a Spanish- Indonesian family in Holland. Her work expresses a mix of her Spanish temperament and her Indonesian modesty. After Fashionschool and School of Creative Handcrafts Natalia studied at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Here she explored several media in Fine arts: drawing, painting, photography, video en 8mm film. In 2003 she went to New York where she studied at Pratt Institute. A year later Natalia graduated as a Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts and Design with honours at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht. Her final work a film installation named "Stills" was shown at the Supper Club Amsterdam in 2004.
